Bryant Harvey Partnership has been appointed by Essex County Council to design and procure a new Model Special School in Basildon, for 90 children in the age range of 3-13 years and 80 pupils in the age range of 14-25 years with SLD and PMLD, as well as for children with ASD and a Respite Care Centre.
We have been working with Essex County Council for the past two years, carrying out a review of all its Special Schools and 'The Pioneer School' in Basildon is the first new Model Special School to be commissioned. It is intended that 'The Pioneer School' and Respite Care Centre should be complete and ready for occupation by April 2008.
