Leatherland is a Belgian company which established a presence in the UK market
selling leather furniture in 1990.
The Bryant Harvey Partnership was commissioned to design and manag the construction
of their first retail at Staoles Corner, in London. The Bryant Harvey Partnership
was also commisioned to design the interior of the unit.
The building is a single storey steel frame structure with horizontal curved
silver metal cladding and glazing, fronting the North Circular Road. The materials
and colours used provide a striking visual appearance from the main road and
also enable maximum window area for display.
