Bryant Harvey Parntership was appointed by the London Borough of Greenwich to design a City Learning Centre to allow students, teachers, educational professionals and members of the wider community, access to information communications technology as a means of learning. The Abbey Wood project is the second CLC in Greenwich and will be part of a network of community facilities in the Borough.

The single storey building has an exposed structural steel frame, curved metal deck roof, fully glazed external walls and is sympathetic to its surroundings in terms of orientation. The design is capable of being extended at a later stage without disrupting the existing services to provide a library and fitness centre.
